A request without that header is rejected.

Key format

Keys are do_sk_ plus 24 base62 characters (A–Z, a–z, 0–9). Example shape: do_sk_ followed by 24 characters. The total length is 30 characters. Create and revoke keys under API Keys. Creating a key returns the full value. While the key is active, any member of the organization can reveal it again from that page. A revoked key cannot be revealed. The dashboard list shows a prefix (do_sk_ plus the first 8 random characters) and masks the rest.

Where the key is checked

The key selects the organization. Credits are spent from that organization’s balance, and the organization’s rate limit applies. See Credits and Errors and rate limits.
