# Swap & Bridge

Swap tokens and bridge between chains without leaving DeFi Orbit. Powered by LI.FI, signed in your own wallet—DeFi Orbit never holds your funds. Open **Swap & Bridge** from the sidebar and it slides out as a drawer, so your portfolio stays in view.

## What It Does

The drawer handles both operations in one widget:

| **Swap** | Exchange one token for another on the same chain |
| **Bridge** | Move tokens from one chain to another, with an automatic swap on the way when needed |

Pick the token and chain you're sending from, the token and chain you want to receive, and the widget finds the best route across the DEXs and bridges LI.FI aggregates. Review the quote—including the route and fees—then confirm.

## Supported Ecosystems

Swap & Bridge works across **EVM chains, Solana, Bitcoin, Sui, and Tron**—so you can move capital between ecosystems, not just between EVM chains.

## Your Keys, Your Funds

**DeFi Orbit never holds your funds.** The widget builds a route and hands the transaction to your own wallet to sign. Nothing moves until you approve it in your wallet, and funds travel wallet-to-wallet through the route's on-chain contracts—never through DeFi Orbit.

**Connect inside the widget** - The drawer has its own wallet connection, separate from the account you log in with. Connect whichever wallet you want to transact from, even if it's not one of your tracked wallets.

## Fees

DeFi Orbit adds no fee of its own on swaps and bridges. The route itself carries normal costs—network gas, DEX fees, and bridge provider fees—and these are shown in the quote before you confirm.
