# Sharing Wallet Links

Give a client, investor, or auditor a read-only view of one wallet's portfolio. Enterprise accounts can share any tracked wallet as a public link—no account needed to open it. Share links are an [Enterprise](/guides/enterprise) feature; to share a whole multi-wallet portfolio instead, use a [customer link](/guides/customers).

## Creating a Share Link

1. Open **My Wallets** from the sidebar
2. On the wallet's card menu, click **Share Portfolio**
3. Choose your settings and click **Share**—the link is created and copied to your clipboard

The same dialog is also available from a customer's wallets table, so you can share a single wallet straight from a [customer's page](/guides/customers).

### Share Settings

| **Option** | **Choices** | **Default** |
| - | - | - |
| **Show Wallet Address** | On or off | Off |
| **Expire after** | 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 1 year, or Never | 30 days |

With **Show Wallet Address** off, the shared page labels the portfolio with a generic client label instead of the wallet's name, and the address is hidden everywhere. With it on, the page shows your account name with the address available on hover.

## Managing a Link

A wallet with an active link shows a **Shared** badge on its card—click the badge any time to copy the link again. Each wallet has at most **one active link**: creating a new one replaces the old one, and the old URL stops working.

To change the settings later, open **Edit Portfolio Link** from the wallet's menu. From there you can:

* Toggle the wallet address on or off
* Change the expiry
* **Remove link**—this disables the public URL instantly and can't be undone (you can always create a fresh link)

**Archiving disables sharing** - Archiving a wallet automatically disables its share link, and unarchiving does not re-enable it—create a new link if you want to share the wallet again.

Anyone opening a removed, disabled, or expired link sees **"Sorry, this link has expired."**

## What Viewers See

The link opens a read-only portfolio page at `app.defiorbit.xyz/portfolio/…`—no login, no account:

* **A dated snapshot** of the wallet—the page is labelled with the snapshot date and time, so the record a viewer opens is a fixed point in time rather than a moving target
* **Summary and value chart** with up to 30 days of history
* **Token holdings, wallet breakdown, chain exposure, and allocation**
* **Position metrics** —estimated yield, pending fees, yield APR, P\&L, and impermanent loss cards
* A **Managed by** attribution in the sidebar, plus theme and privacy-mode toggles

A fresh snapshot is captured whenever you create or update a link, and when you open your own shared page you'll see a **Refresh** button to capture a new one on demand. Your [notes](/guides/notes) never appear on shared pages.
